i think i got into foruming like.. ages ago when i was.. 15? haha cuz i was bored
foruming wasn't my thing.. but when the msn chat room closed down.. i had to lurk around to find something
foruming was just a way for me not to stop using english xD (my english was bad.. well it still is lalala~)
and.. hrmm.. surprisingly, foruming.. it helped me with my english haha and i could write essays without worrying too much of the grammars and such
foruming did make me braver eh? lol
how bout you though? why forums?
forums because it makes ppl braver. i support~ i could continue drawing my manga because i joined AH. i never completed such a long (by my standards) manga be4~
forums are a nice place..
forums.. meet ppl~ and um..joined to Spam~ XD
spam = expressing urself so creatively and ingeniusely that it makes no sense to other forumers~ ^_^
To meet new and interesting people online~
To get links on where to DL anime ;P
To enhance my English skills xDD
To learn more n00bish skills 8D
To learn new things from people (GFX,computer programming,etc)
And to kill time =D
Hmn..Im gonna go and think of more reasons =)
Why?
1. To find more friends.
2. Too leech anime, manga and songs.
3. To improve my English writing skills (yeah it's true XD)
4. To learn all the "wonderful" internet languages.
5. Like J-chan said, to kill time =D
I joined my first forum in January last year due to boredom. Then, I got addicted to it and met many great people (you guys know who you are ;p)
And if I didn't join any forum, you guys wouldn't find a Delta Mod on AH whose name is KalleN XD
Hmmm.. Foruming..
It's been only two years... I don't know why I started foruming... : /
It just went that way.
My first forum was at Maximum7, I didn't even know why I registered myself there! O__O
... well that's where I became an "active" member. I just did an introduction and before I knew it, I was playing SPAM games! Later I could also use it to discuss about Bleach etc.
So why the forums?
From the beginning I didn't know why I started foruming and it hasn't changed ever since.
I suppose the Leeching anime and getting to know ppl are a reason, but that was never my reason :/ .... I just.. Joined...

find help when I need it
... hmm it seems that I talk more online than I do in person

the first forum I joined is a forum related to cars and bikes...but I enjoy foruming because :-
1) I can meet new friends even tho I can't meet them in RL
2) Share with others experiences
3) Learn new thing and lots of tuts
4) Lurking,leeching,spamming and lots more...
5) Improving my broken english...
[SIZE="2"]I confess... I had never participated of forum before, only it was accessing Internet to do consultation and to do download of anime by torrent. In April of last year i began to learn English. And crazy as I am, two months later i decided to participate of a forum in English (without know english right =p). What by chance was AE... I meet great persons there, and i began to enjoy to participate and i improve my english. Then ES and after that AH... I got addicted, only because of all great persons that i meet.
So thank you ^_^
Now for me the forum is meet new friends, share experiences, learn new things (because i always like to learn new things, for example photoshop, etc), improve and learn more english, and and to keep on seeing you guys... i think all here is great. First forum I joined was aE and I was just curious...
and now I do it to meet new people and to have fun..
same as vaney and loa, AE is my first forums. then I joined many other forums XD
I join forums because I can meet new people and make friends with them
another reason I join is that good tut or info
