I want to promote our downloaders to use the CCCP codec pack with media player classic as an all in one package to be able to watch anime, without having to download individual codecs that will make your computer systems messy as well as hard to remove and upgrade.

First I had the K-lite pack, but later used the CCCP and no problems at all...
I use the Zoom-player. Always works. ^_^
If you got a crappier pc, i recommend that in conjunction installing CCCP and media player classic, you should install Coreavc codec and setup CCCP to not use their coders for H264, and instead to configure in mpc to use coreavc external codec.

Now you can watch hdtv anime encoded in h264 without any hiccups
even with a crummier pc. Also the quality is still good !!!
I am using Vista 64bit and core avc works flawlessly for me now :] with the latest version.

I'm using CCCP with MPC and so far no probs at all...
the standalone codec package really mess my PC..too much package and variety, You've got to install this first and uninstall that lor..
I think for now I'll stick with CCCP :munch:
I've always used K-Lite with MPC and never had any problems.
Just thought I'd share that.
The thing is klite is messy to your system when you want to uninstall or upgrade to a newer pack :X
This it the biggest advantage CCCP has over other codec packs :X
And the fact that CCCP is tailored towards anime media viewing compared to other codecs, meaning your much less likely to run into decoding problems compared with the other codec packs.
yeah, k-lite is also old and out of date. moreover... there are some rumors going around that k-lite has trojans embedded in it. so not a good idea =)
