This is just a general Hellsing manga discussion thread.
So I guess I'll generate some discussion:
Chapter 087 should be scanlated soon, I've found the RAWs on the net but have stopped myself from clicking the link to dowload them... (the temptation is so great T_T) so for all those who haven't see the RAWs what are your predictions for chapter 087?
Captain's going to die (made obvious from chapter 086), I think we might get to see the start of Integra VS Major, and Walter VS Alucard... Or as it currently stands Young Walter VS Girlycard will probably do some more talking, or fighting which doesn't get them anywhere.
Is the manga being continued ?
I only have seen the anime which was stopped at some episode because of problems with the director and the mangaka :X
Yes the manga is still going.
The anime you're talking about is the 13 episode TV series which finished because it was lame. It followed the manga to about episode 7 when it then caught up to the manga and rather than waiting for more manga to come out they just made up their own storyline. Thus the manga story is supremely superior.
Also if you get Hellsing Ultimate, which is the ongoing OVA series for Hellsing, that follows to manga storyline pretty much perfectly... Episodes are 50 minutes long and release at about 1 to 2 a year, 3 are out currently and a 4th is due out before the end of this year. Each episode covers 1 entire volume of manga.
Anyway back on discussion, chapter 087 came out and I was pretty much spot on with all my predictions! XD
Now I would like to bring up some discussion about 088 and a particular issue in 087 as such:
Ok so first off we have the obvious "What do you reckon will happen in 088?" discussion, but I'd also like to know people's opinions of the "poisoning" of Alucard through Schro commiting suicide (or so it seems) into the stream of blood Alucard is absorbing.
I don't know what will happen but I'm getting a whole The Matrix Revolutions feel ala Smith absorbing Neo and then being killed from the inside...
I think i will follow up on Hellsing then.
The anime last episodes was kinda.... dissapointing. So it's good to know that this was not the original story done by the mangaka
Well to be honest, alucard is just too strong. Nothing can stop him. I think they seriously need to introduce some colossally awesome villains.
As to Chapter 89
Well I don't think alucard will die, but maybe something will happen so he doesn't kill walter. I really like young walter, so I don't want him to die. He's too awesome. One of the few other characters I like. I also hope Shrulder (Think that's how it's spelled) isn't as useless in the future. I mean hypothetically he's the only one so far who is as unkillable as alucard, just because he's everything and nothing. My guess would be that the poison gets alucard or something, and it weakens him. Walter gets away, and then alucard has to recover or something, so Seras has to step up some more like she has been doing. Then they will introduce some new villains who are all under the Major.
I wish that faggot would hurry up because I've been stuck on like volume 6 forever.

yeah I get the same feeling. when I see Alucard seems immortal. I just want the opposite XD
I start to read Hellsing recently. right now i've finished first 9 vol. I think the translation is from French. (tsk, is it obvious? u.u)

im just watching the anime now.. but just by watching the first epi i agree that guy is too strong.. -_- stabbed in the heart and got his head loped off? man... what is gonna kill him? XD (but then Dante from DMC is also immortal ^_^ )
Is the manga much different from the show? I was thinking about buying it a while ago but I wasn't sure. They had it wraped so I couldn't take a peek at it lol
