Ohhhhh, Hanakimi!!! I love that manga! Haven't seen the drama yet But well, I'll do it soon! It's really a great manga, though the story is pretty usual... Hmm, it's a keepsake for sure. What makes it one of my best also, is without doubt the amazing character and relationship development the manga-ka managed! Not to mention the eye-candies that are Sano, Nakatsu and Nanba! :munch:Anyway, all in all, agree with zush that this really is a sweet and endearing manga. Good if you want to have some romance, comedy and light-heartened manga about school life! :wub:

So far I've only watched the Taiwanese drama,laughing quite a lot.But since the drama is that great,I think I would try watching the original japanese version.Still,I guess it would be nice if this type of manga and anime has a real-life drama version of them.

hmm... i've only watched one epi of the taiwan drama.... and was left a bit numb in the head after that.. XD

but the manga is much better imho.. (havent finished it yet though.. and i read it a while back..)

I've heard about this one as well. In fact, it's quite famous. This sounds very much shoujou stuff, so I have my doubts if it's going to be all drama and stuff.
The plot does sound like a lot of potential. I don't dislike gender-bender manga's. Also, this somehow reminds me of Pretty Face, only the female form judging from the plot. xD

I’ ve finished the jap series and I’m thinking I like it better than the Taiwanese version. Maybe coz the lead actress looks prettier and I got hooked on IkutaToma. :lovely: And I like the way they portrayed the characters better. IMHO I thought that there was more emotion coming from the J ver than that of the T ver … although I can’t say if it followed the manga faithfully or what since I haven’t read it yet. :munch:

I’ve also DLed the special but I can’t find that ep where they were supposed to have gone to America. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Yeah, I agree with xng =P Ikuta Toma is simply love =) so is Mizushima Hiro and Shun Oguri ^^ And everyone else *grin*

Hmmm, the scene where they go to America is not included in the J-drama. But there is a special that came out. Haven't seen it yet. <_<

You should watch the special episode 7 1/2 with the graduation of the dorm heads and the finale live special. I had fun even when I couldn't understand most of what they were saying. LOL
