Otaku Flame

Hmmm... I'm going to try the first volume, but from what I saw I don't think it quite suite my taste. I just skimmed through it. I see Youkai, which I find interesting. Almost every manga/anime with youkai is instant interest, in my case.
I guess I need to read it thoroughly.

Thanks for the download. I've been searching for Gaiden forever.
Aside from the plot hole wherein the guys are taking a really long time to get to the West when their enemies can get to them in, like, a day (seriously, they should just steal those dragon-things), it's a fun series.

You forgot about the little dragon that turns into a jeep. LOL.

Yeah, I did forget about Hakuryu :| LOL, but it is a fun series =P Especially when Sanzo is trying to deal with Goku and Gojyo

Saiyuki is a manga whose art takes some getting used to. I know a lot of people who are turned off by Minekura's art. Something about the eyes and face shapes.

But it did take some time for me to get used to it, not much though. Maybe because I didn't read in on PC but got the manga itself. My favourite characters are Sanzo and Kougaiji... and Hakkai... and... well... I guess everyone

I think those ummm.... assets... were made for 'eye candy' or 'fan service and all that' and i wonder why I never thought they were drawn weird. heh. Mebbe coz I only saw the anime but never read the manga. :wai:

My opinion is that the anime's art is weird. Of course, they would try to copy Minekura's manga art, which is really nice, but in the anime, the face shapes, without the proper shading, just look weird. But still, gotta love everyone.

And, yes, eye candy. Exactly.
